Ruger Blackpowder
Have a chance to buy a Ruger Old Army .45 Stainless blackpowder pistol for $200. Its in real good shape and has accessories...is it too much or good deal?
I don't now nor have ever owned or fired a BP gun, so this is my first.

Buy it and buy it now before that guy changes his mind.
You will be starting off with the Cadillac of cap and ball revolvers.
Wish I had a Ruger.

Hope you have that Old Army revolver by now. Since you are new to muzzleloaders, take a look at this site: http://mamaflinter.tripod.com , click on pistols, there is info to get you started, along with a lot of other stuff you will need as you will probably have to have a rifle or 2 in the future. I agree, $200 is a good deal. Black powder is cheap and fun to shoot.
