C.B. Vaughan hard case

My daughter bought me a C.B. Vaughan oak and leather case side-by-side shotgun/rifle case at an auction. The case is in pretty good condition, has scratches, no mildew. The case seems to be intact with all of the compartments in place.
My question is does anyone know anything about C.B. Vaughan? I love the case just for the nostalgia value.
