Ithaca Model 37 Trenchgun?
I have a Model 37 12ga/20" with a vented handguard and bayonet lug attachment. It is parkerized and has a walnut stock with a plain oil finish. I would like more info about the gun to determine value.

You appear to have the later Vietnam era Ithaca M37 Trench Gun, but to be sure, what is/are the serial numbers on your Ithaca M37?
If it is a Vietnam era M37, according to the reference I have, they are in a very small serial number range... 50,000 - 72,000 (Ithaca number) and S,1000 - S23,000, (U.S. Army number). The U.S. Army number was applied upside down. It should have "U.S." stamped on the right-hand side of the receiver, and a "P" stamped on the top of the receiver and on the barrel.
If it is a WW II era M37 that was reburbished, it will have additional markings.

Ithaca made a number of different versions of the Model 37 Trench Gun, dateing to W W II. They were made for police and commerical sales as well as the military. Some of them are worth a whole bunch of money. Unfortunately the big bucks draws the fakers/kitchen table gunsmiths like fly's to you know what.
It would be best for you to get a hands-on appraisal from a REPUTABLE dealer or collector, even if you have to pay for it.
