Auto ordinance 1911 10mm
I just picked up a Auto ordinance 1911 in 10mm and will put the first rounds threw it this weekend. I know they were made between 91 and 96 but I can not find any info on the quality of the gun or any problems they may have. I would also like to know the value of the gun and If it should be kept do to it's rarity.

Hello this is just my opinion but Auto ORDINANCE will never be a collector item so shoot and enjoy it I have done some rockwell hardness test on These guns and they are not up to a colt and some others but are safe to shoot I wouldn't give them a steady diet of +P ammo quote:"praise the hardball gun" 0 -
The only written info I've seen on them is at http://home.earthlink.net/~gnappi/10mm-gun.htm#ao
I applaud your choice of cartridges for sure (the 10mm!). [:)]0 -
I was never aware that AO made a 1911 in 10mm, I thought they stuck to real cartridges like the .45ACP[^]
