Finding year of manufacture for Browning

How do I find out the year of manufacture for a Browning .22 semi-auto? I took a quick look at their website, but didn't see any links to that kind of info. I found on the receiver the following: 70 T 46XXX. Could that first set of digits mean 1970 manufacture? Thanks.

  70T means its a 1970 22 long rifle gun.
