I have had a Remington 1100, 12ga, 2 3/4 shotgun for some time that has maybe had 20 shells shot thru it. It has a 28" improved cylynder barrell. It costs about $290 15 or so years ago. Anybody know about it would be worth now?

    Thanks.

99% means the gun is as close to new as possible for being fired. It is almost to have something at 100%, so even if the owner can't find anything wrong, they list it as 99%, so if you find a tiny scratch or pit in the metal or stock then you can't say they misrepresented it.

Generally the % relates to the amount of original finish remaining on a gun.

I actually do shoot a 99% on skeet, but I use the Richard Daley pass the bar system. You take your first five scores, and then add them up for your score. After all, there's a reason he only passed after 5 tries.[:D]
