Are you required to charge sales tax on the purchase price of a gun being transferred to you. For example Joe Blow wins a auction and uses you for a transfer , the gun is from a dealer in Maryland and he paid $300.00 . Are you required to charge the guy tax on the $300.00 purchase price plus transfer fees etc.

  i think it is tax on the trasfer fee...but someone else will no for sure..tom
