Interesting! The only One I ever heard of one was made pre World War Two....and that was factory....Be awful expensive to build one I'm sure...

Hello Buck...
Winchester made LOTS of Model 1894/94 (and its variant Models, the 55 and 64) with the Takedown frame. However, if you are trying to convert a standard solid frame Model 1894/94 to a Takedown... it is not mechanically possible unless you create a totally different style of takedown method/system from scratch. Way too many of the parts are different on an original Winchester Takedown Rifle versus a solid frame.

Hacksaw, duct tape & some chopsticks. But once you "take it down", you may have problems with reassembly.

But only if you don't care if it shoots anymore... 0 -

They convert Marlins, but they could probably do a 94 also. I saw these guys at the Shot Show, and I was VERY impressed with the quality.

Buck E,
Jody mentioned an article. I have an old NRA gunsmithing book that has that article in it. I showed it too a friend that is a welder and sometime metal worker and he had complete confidence he could do it. And do it "right"!!0
