If a person was to buy 2-3 guns in one day on the same 4473 form are you required to report this to the ATF ?

God gave us all a gift. Have you found yours yet ?

  Been there, done that. Long guns aren't reported, handguns are.

  Guys, I have traded for 2 or more handguns from my local shop.(about twice every 2 months) Has anyone one of you had a follow up by the BATF? or the individuals involved? Is it a "big deal" to them (BATF) thanks in advance. nambu

  I am an ffl dealer and sold two old model Ruger Singles Sixes to an individual in the five day reporting period. I reported it as required and a few days later I received a call from the BATF asking about one of the serial numbers as the form had been torn and the number was not legible. They don't just file and forget these forms.

  Thanks for your reply Mark. I do not trade for the cheapies, when I get to the gunshop, I have just got to trade 2 or 3 for 2 or more guns to make it seem like I have actually "went trading". Did not want to draw attention to me, from the BATF because of this. I ma just a honest working man who likes to trade guns! nambu
