Whats goin on?

I just gotta ask even if I might not know what Im talkin about. I recently bought a taurus 45 millenium pro ss. It came with a picatinny rail even though I had never seen one with a one. My dealer didnt carry any tactical lights small enough for the gun. It has a 3.3inch barrel. So he gave me a list of companys to call saying they might carry something. Problem is nobody knows why it came with a piccatinny rail,apparently not even taurus. I called them up to ask what companies made lights and lasers to fit it and they werent aware my gun came with a rail. That was odd. Maybe the service rep was new? Well I then called the maker of the xml light, they advertise it as the worlds smallest(cant remember their name now been a few days insight technologies I think)thought they might have a list of the applications for the light, but no. They didnt know if it would fit my gun cause they hadnt heard of one with a rail either. So the rep called taurus and called me back a few days later. She said she exausted her resources and couldnt find anything saying my gun should have a rail not even taurus knew why. She said even her boss called taurus and no dice. Whats up did I get this gun by mistake. Do you guys know what light system will fit my gun. I figure the xml will cause it fits on the springfield xd with the 3.1 inch barrel and mines got a 3.3 inch. Please help. Any feedback would be great.

    Hi,
    Not sure why, who, or if it was istalled from the manufacture, but it's a picatinny rail. Any light that would fit on a picatinny rail of the size should work. Doesn't matter what the rail is on.....If it's a picatinny rail system.[:D]

    Hey found out what the deal was. Went to a gun shop out of town(well dont have but one so if I went to another one it would have to be so)and they said I have the brand new frame on the pt145 millenium pro. So that explains that. Dont know why Taurus couldnt have told me that though.[?]
