    Now, this isn't a Jennings we're talkin' 'bout. True, a magnet doesn't stick well to a Phoenix, but it really does have some heft. Much heavier than you would think. Comparing it to the Ruger is a gross case of apples and oranges. When stacked against others it's size and price range, it's pretty good. Though the trigger is awful and the multiple layers of safetys is a hassle, it's not a bad deal if that's all you want to spend. Only my humble opinion, of course.

    The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    I didn't say the Phoenix is a terrible gun. It just doesn't compare well with the Ruger.

    The Yugo, when it still existed, would fire up and get you down the road, just not as nicely as a Chevy, nor would it last as long if subjected to the same service.

    Good answer Sir. We did have a Yugo. New car-$3K-full warranty-43 MPG-90K mi. with no big problems. But you're so right...It did the job, but it wasn't my Silverado, and thank God that Cathy was never in an accident with it!....
