Mod 97 16ga & Barker 12ga
Hello, I have a Model 97 Winchester 16ga nice tight good shooting gun. Only problem is the barrel was blown up and it now has a choke on it, also the butt plate is plastic and I don't think thats original, the sn is E 898307. Also I have a T Barker 12ga double with 32" barrels, it has the silver dog on the left side and the left firing pin is broken. The forearm has been replaced with what looks like probably a homemade one she closes a little loose but the hammers are nice and crisp. It has the Belgian Royal Damascus barrels. Any information as to the value of the guns would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and please e-mail me if you have any other questions or need more information.

Hello classic16...
On the Winchester Model 97... less than $200. The buttplates were made of a composite material that very much resembles plastic. As long as it has the Winchester logo and is black in color, I would personally bet that it is original.
The T Barker is an inexpesively made Belgian import scattergun (imported sometime between 1890 and 1913), and it is also worth something considerably south of $200. DO NOT shoot it with modern ammo... unless you want to wear part of it.
