Illuminated reticle scopes

Looking for recommendations for an illuminated reticle scope. 4-16 x 40mm or higher in the $250 to 450 price range. Primary use is for general hunting. Suggestions welcomed.

  I have a Simmons Aetec scope that 3-12x44 that i wouldn't take for. The illumination works great. I know that it is not a 4-16 but I thought I'd let you know.

  JustC thinks highly of his Burris. I like Burris as well, but don't use illum reticles.

  burris signature 4-16x44 with the e-dot reticle has claimed MANY whitetail for me and holds zero under a 7mm mag.
  
  why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

  Thanks gents. With the exception of the BSA line, Burris and Simmons are what I've got it narrowed down to thus far. Aetec in the Simmons and fullfield II in the Burris line.

  Just as a side note my Aetec is mounted on a 340 Weatherby in Weaver 4x4 rings and has not changed point of impact in 3 years of hunting.
