Stoeger Luger 22 Target Model
I purchased a Stoeger 22 with a special rear target site that I need help with. The site blade broke off the adjustable mount and I have not been able to re-attach it by any means. I need this rear site or the work on some place where I can get a custom replacement made. This gun is a super shooting pistol and handles rounds cleanly. I would really like to get the site replaced.

In my IPB of the Stoeger Luger, the rear sight is shown to be integral with a part called the "Boltways Block".
Gun Parts Corp. has these in stock.

As yours is different, i.e. adjustable, not sure if the above is interchangable with your pistol.

The version I have does not have the rear sight integrated in the rear of the gun. Mine has a flat spot where the integrated sight would normally be and an adjustable sight attached to the rear. This adjustable sight is weighted to better balance the pistol for aiming and is fully adjustable. 0 -
I still have had no luck finding replacement rear sight parts for my pistol. Here is a link to a picture of a model like mine below. If anyone can help me find parts for the rear sight I would much appreciate it.

Have you tried taking it to a gunsmith for repair? Depending on how it's been "broken off" it could possibly be silver soldered back together, perhaps be drilled, tapped and screwed....or even be repaired with JB Weld or one of the new super adhesives.
Failing that, a decent gunsmith should be able to make you a new part, or at least recommend a local precision machine shop where you can have one made.
If you don't know a good gunsmith, ask at your local gunstore (not Walmart) or at a local shooting club for a recommendation.0 -
Just about all those things have been tried except for the drilling and screwing. I thought about a gunsmith but most I have been to in my area were not very esthetically conscious. They have been able to do the work but it did not look to good when they finished. 0
