What is it worth - Gustavs' Swedish Mauser
I have a 1900 Carl Gustavs M96 Mauser. It is the standard long rifle in average condition. Bolt and receiver numbers match but none of the rest. I'd say it has about 65 % of the blue left. What are guns like these going for these days? Most of the ones for sale on Gunbroker seem priced kinda high - is the value on these going up? Mine has just been gathering dust and I'm thinking of trading/selling it. It was an $ 80 rifle about 9 - 10 years ago when I bought it.
Also, is this gun old enough to not have to be transfered to an FFL if I sold it out of state?

Since it was made after 1898 it has to go through a FFL.
Swede long rifles are generally good shooters and sought after by collectors, when they are matching & have 85+% original finish.
From your description, my WAG of the value would be, $125 - $175.

The price is up somewhat on "collectable" rifles in very good condition with all matching numbers. Rufe-Snow has it nailed for an average rifle with unmatched parts. I paid $140 for one like yours with a 6.49 bore. 0
