Harrington and Richardson revolver model 900 .22
this is one of my great aunt's guns that she never used. it was still in the box with 50 rounds of federal hi-power ammo. It has a blued finish and the barrel is 4" On the butt of the revolver says AG3869.

the model 900 was manufactured between about 1962 and 1974. it was meant to be a replacement for the model 922 (pull pin cylinder). the machining for the snap out cylinder proved to be as costly as that of the swing out cylinder model 929 so it was dropped and the model 922 was reintroduced as h&r's base model. the model 900 has always been one of my favorite H&Rs. i still have one made in first year of production (1962) worn finish but excellent mechanics.
the letter codes 'AG' were used in 1970. i believe a model 900 in the box with papers should be worth at least $200-$250 as it is one of H&R more unusual revolvers. if you are looking for insurance value add another $100.
