DPMS 22LR

I went to my local gun shop and they have a DPMS in 22 I think is the basic model 16" bull barrel is use but mint condition and they are asking 650Dls (no scope or sites) but 3 xtra mags, before I saw this I was thinking on a Thompson center target model, is the DPMS a good gun? and have anybody has any experience with the 22 in particular?

    That sounds like a fair deal.I dont have any DPMS uppers but have 2 lowers,one on a Rock River 223cal upper and one with the CZ 22cal upper.In my opinion DPMS is as good as any other AR type rifle.Your likely not going to get bench rest groups but it should still shoot good.Plus it looks cool[:D] My CZ 22cal upper will shoot 3 shot 1/2-3/4" groups at 50 yds consistantly.I have put a lighter trigger spring in and use a Simmons 44mag 6.5x20x44 scope.
