Request help valuing some guns
Hello Everyone.
My father-in-law just passed away and left his guns to us. I have no idea on what they are worth so we can sell them.
If anyone could help give me some advice on roughly what the 3 guns are worth I would be very grateful.
The 3 guns are:
1. Winchester Model 12 12 ga 2 _ cham, full choke Serial number 1900140
2. German made 7mm with bushnell scope
3. some old 22 bolt action rifle that holds a number of shells

I just looked at the pictures you posted.
While I am NOT AN EXPERT that can state you ballpark price for the three guns you posted, I can probably safely say that the Model 12 shotgun is probably the most valuable of the lot and it looks to be in decent condition. Let an expert name the value.
The 7mm rifle looks like a sporterized Mauser rifle. Value on this maybe $200.00, but again, please rely on the expert.
The 22 bolt rifle I could not identify. It appears to have a lot of wear and some repairs, so I would suspect it is only worth a few 10's of dollars.
I am sure a forum expert will be able to provide a good estimate on the Model 12.

Number 2, is a military rifle originally made in Belgium, not Germany. Since it has been "sporterized", it has no collectors value other then as common hunting rifle. My WAG is that it's worth between $100 & $200.

Hello Steve,
The Model 12 is a late production gun (circa 1961), and is worth in the $350 range in the pictured condition.
The 22 bolt action rifle is a Winchester Model 72. They were manufactured from April of 1938 to December of 1959, and yours is one of the earlier made specimens. It appears that the bolt was repaired, and the rear sight elevator is missing. The Model No. should be marked on barrel forward of the rear sight. In its current condition, it is worth about $50 - $75.
