Buckshot question

What is the diameter of the shot in Number 4 buckshot? I noticed there are 27 of them in a standard 12 ga. round.

  Buckshot Pellet #4 has a diameter of .24 and an average weight of 20.6 grains.

  .240, just a little bigger in diameter then a .22 Long Rifle Bullet.
