HOW HARD IS IT TO REMOVE & REPLACE THE BARRELL ON A RUGER10/22????????

Remove the barrel band and the screw on the bottom of the forend to remove barreled action form the stock. Look for a block with "V" shaped nmating surface just in front of the bottom of the chamber area. Remove the 2 hex screws with that block they go through and pull the barrel straight out. First time that I did it, I was amazed at the simplicity of the design. Just take your time and you'll have no trouble...

BE CAREFUL DONT NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BARREL SCREW!
Its super easy to strip!
Use your little finger to tighten to apx 15-20 inch lbs!

It's also possible to break the the V-block barrel retainer that secures the barrel so like he said, do not over tighten. With the stock off you just undo two screws & the barrel slips right off.
Very easy just don't over tighten the two screws.
