.17 hmr conversion barrel
I have a AMT AUTOMAG-II in 22 mag. I would like to find a conversion barrel to shoot the new .17 HMR . I have found no one that offers this item. I think that there are a lot of AMT owners that would also be interested. Any help?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately I don't believe your going to have much luck as AMT/Galena went out of business about 3 years ago.
Maybe one of the other members knows of a source of custom barrels, but even if that is possible I suspect the cost will be as much as if you just bought a new pistol from Ruger or Browning (to name a couple sources).
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
