I would go with the Kel-tec, the one I have goes bang every time I pull the trigger, is very light weight , and very thin, slip it into your pocket and you don't even know its there [;)] also when loaded with the 32 acp winchester silver tip HP makes for a nasty round , the 32 also has more power than the 25 and I believe is a little cheaper ,
I would buy a 22lr before a 25acp , Taurus makes a nice little 22lr in their pt-22, just something to think about

I had the Keltec .32 and liked it fine. Traded it in on the Keltec .380, same size and weight but more firepower. Like it a lot too.

What are you going to do with a .25acp!
I know 2 brothers that got in a fight & got shot.
One took 3 rounds the other took 4, they beat the crap out of the guy before they noticed they were bleeding.
All shots were in the stomach & chest areas.
IMHO, a .25acp will get you killed. If you need a weapon for self protection get something that will stop them in single shot, as that is maybe all the time you have.
    Crap happens fast!
I you only intend to wound someone, your better off not having a weapon. As they can take it away from you and use it on you or your family.
I dont like to bring this up, but if your not ready to use "deadly force", then you dont need a weapon.
Otherwise look at least a 9mm or bigger.
As far as Taurus or Kel-Tec, get a Taurus.
But again, do you want to bet your life on a $200 gun or a $800 gun.
Go for QUALITY & DEPENDABILITY, its you life, is it worth the extra $600??

what a load of crap-ola your telling that poor guy! I've dropped 400lb hogs with 1 or 2 head shots with a 22, put a few wild dogs to sleep in doggy land all with a lowly 22 and you bums still knock the the 22 you think its no good to protect you or stop someone ! how about standing in front of it ! always the bigger is better ! must have small pee pee's you peckerwoods ! I have a friend that was in a bar fight, got shot in the back of the hand and in stomach by a .25 acp. The shot in the hand was stopped by the bone without breaking or cracking it and he pulled out the bullet in the stomack with needle nosed pliers and didn't go to the hospital. As a former police officer I've seen attempted suicides with both 22's and 25's, the ones with 22's were sucessful when the 25's either stopped by the skull or the bullets path were deflected by the skull. I guess it proves that small pee pee's are sometimes better when they have more power and those that have them know how to use them. Besides that I don't recall anybody knocking the 22.

Billy Bass If you're talking about a 22 rifle, it's a whole nuther thing from a 22 pistol as far as effectiveness is concerned especially a short barrelled pistol.

Not sure about the others but the Phoenix is junk. IMHO buy quality (used not abused) S&W, Walther or Glock you will not be sorry. They all make smaller size pistols that will last a lifetime.

If you're talking about 25 auto size pistols with more serious power, there is only one real choice; the Keltec 380 P3AT.
Everything else is either bigger, fatter, heavier has less power or all four.

A friend will post your bail. A good friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying, "man that was fun!"

Kel-tec 380, I looked in my cataloges and the size and weight are listed the same as for the 32 and dealers prices are only $10 apart.
