Ammunition Shipping
I was wanting to order some surplus ammuntion from an online dealer in .308 caliber but before i did so i needed to know if it can be shipped directly to my place of employement or does it have to be shipped to a FFL dealer?
There are so many laws on the books on firearms and ammunition the last thing i want is to get crossways with the Feds.
I live in Texas and didnt really know where to find the laws petaining to this so i thought i would ask you guys.

Ammo can be shiped to you directly, doesn't have to go through a FFL.
Some of the commie states or cities might have laws, restricting the shipment of ammo. Texas isn't one of them, as far as I know.
Be advised the folks you buy your ammo from, MIGHT want a picture ID on file ( Drivers License ) before they will ship you the ammo.
The ammo has to be shipped UPS or Fedex. Also the box the ammo is shipped in has to be marked "Orme D". This is bad news if somebody else receives the ammo, as anybody with half a brain will know whats inside.
