Remington 1100 cycling concern???
Hello.
Is there something like a minimum load for 12 ga in particular Rem 1100 for proper cycling? Although this is my back up gun, my range is getting stricter and they pushing the limits to:
12ga, 2 3/4 shells, no hi bras, max 3 DR EQ, 1OZ shoot, 7 1/2, 8 or 9 shoot.
If I shoot those loads will my shotgun cycle properly. Also can it cycle lighter loads like 2 3/4 DR EQ, 7/8 Shoot. 7 1/2 or 8

TRY THE LIGHT LOADS AND SEE. IF YOU "O" RING IS GOOD AND THE 1100 IS CLEAN ,SHOULD WORK. GOOD LUCK

You won't have any problem I've loaded as light as 17 grains of green dot, with a 1 oz claybuster wad, and one ounce of shot, and not had any trouble with the 1100 cycling.

The range where I shoot sells 2.75 dram, 7/8 oz 12 ga. loads for skeet, trap etc. and my 1187 cycles them just fine.
