Recognize this gun??

I need some help knowing which model this Colt is, and getting an approximate on its value. Basically, info on the gun. I can tell you is a five-shot, and says ".36 CAL" on one side. Thanks!

  After looking at a few books, I would have to say it's an 1862 colt pocket navy with a cartridge conversion.

  In the 8th edition of "Flayderman's Guide", the closest in appearence to the conversion you have is the "Colt Round Barrel Pocket Navy with Ejector". App. 2000 were made in the mid 1870's.
  
  Flayderman values them between $700 & $2,750. As the other side of the revolver isn't visable in your photo and the finish might have been nickeled after leaving the Colt factory. It's hard to put a value on yours?

  Hard to tell from the photo but if it's a five shot it's a pocket navy with ejector and if it's a six shot,it's an 1871/1872 open top revolver.

  Something doesn't seem right to me. The cylinder scene appears too sharp compared to the rest of the pistol.

  It does appear to be the Pocket Navy Conversion.
  
  Due to the missing Front Sight, Ejector Rod Head & questionable finish, it doesn't appear to be a high dollar item.

  It appears identical to the "Colt Round Barrel Pocket Navy With Ejector" in Flayderman's (8th Edition, pp. 85).
  
  It should have a stagecoach holdup scene roll engraved on the cylinder (which it appears to have).
  
  However, according to Flayderman's, it should be in either .38 rimfire or .38 centerfire.

  I think Xracer nailed it. I have one of the same but shorter barrel in .38 RF. You can look at the firing pin on the hammer, if it is off center it is RF. Many of these were nickeled originally. Unless it shows evidence of excess polishing or buffing, I would consider the nickel finish original.

  Yeah, but......it shouldn't say ".36 CAL". That's strange.
  
  Granted, the "Round Barrel Pocket Navy With Ejector" was built on the old '62 Pocket Navy frame (.36 CAL percussion), but I'd think that they'd certainly change the stamping.

  It is possible that it was an "after market" conversion.
