Taurus Model 82 PPC Revolver

Does anyone know of a revolver made by Taurus that is a Model 82 that is a factory gun with a heavy compensated barrel with weights, scope mount where rear sight should be, and double action only trigger? I have found one that a dealer is telling me is a factory gun that I am not familiar with. I contacted Taurus that the lady I spoke with told me that she knew nothing of a factory revolver of this type.

  A master gunsmith, Jack Weigand, Mt. Top, PA built some custom PPC type Taurus revolvers like you mentioned. They started out as a stock model 82, but were then "gunsmithed" by Mr. Weigand. I sold one such gun to a gentleman from Wilkes-Barre, PA - but I know several other guns were made.
  
  Check of the scope mount, is it a "Weigand Cbt. Handguns" mount ?

  Thanks! I had one built by Lou Ciamillo but all of his were on either Smith or Ruger Chasis. I had never heard of anyone building them on Taurus. Do you have any idea what years they were made?
