30 30 Winchester
I have a 30 30 Winchester Riffle, I would like to know why there is no serial number on it. I know it is a 30 30 becuase it is inscribed on the barrel of the gun. Any additional information please email me. Thanks.

Charlie just to make sure we are on the same page are you looking in the right place? On a Winchester Model 94 the serial number is located on the underside of the rifle on the bottom of the reciever just ahead of the lever and just below the wood forearm. If the number isn't there it could have worn off or been illegally removed. Look very carefully, if it's a real old one there may only be a few numbers.
