    Check weights are relatively inexpensive and accurate.

    Simpler than buying check weights is to weigh a bullet of a known weight. 50 or 55 grain bullet for my 22/250 works every time as a "check" for my scale

    Do yourself a favor and buy checkweights. You want to be checking accuracy and sensitivity at the low end of the scale. Accuracy at the high end doesn't mean the scale will see the difference between
    4 grains and 4.2 grains.
