Value of Irma-Werke

I apologize for asking about values but the library is closed (Blue Book) and I do not own a Blue Book.

What would be a fair price for a Erma-Werke .25 ACP MODEL: EP555 CONDITION: Exc+ SERIAL #: 0063xx FINISH: Blue

WHat vintage is this pistol and would it be C & R eligable?

I can buy it for $85.

Thanks for any info.

  i dont know about c-r, but $85.00 is a steal. last one i saw 4 years ago went for 250.00 stainless. the gun parted out, will bring 175.00, not a bad shooter either!!!! just keep in mind , parts may be tough to find !!! thats why i said the price as , parted out !!!!

  The Erma Werke pistols were made after W W II. Believe production didn't start until the 50's. Trying to substantiate that one was over 50 years old, so it would be C & R eligible. Would be a stretch.
  
  Erma made a whole spectrum of firearms, before they went belly up in the late 90's. $85 seems to be a righteous price, but if it is one of their economy models, that needs work. It might not be that good of a deal?
