reloading for 7-30 waters
would it be possible to form 7-30 waters cases from 30-30 brass using a neck die set on new case, then fireforming?or, should i full size the case 1st , fire, then go to neck sizing?any help would be appreciated. also, anyone out there w/ .300 whisper case forming tips? thanks again. this is all to be used in the contender.

I have to ask why you would want to when 7x30 waters is still available , sure they cost a little more but I just buy the factory stuff and save the brass for reloading later 0 -
yes you can use 30-30 cases. alot cheaper too. just run thru the 7x30 sizer ,trim if needed, load a mild load and you are set to go. hope this helps. 0 -

After you run them thru the 7-30 sizing die they will look strange. like 260 says load them a little light(I use a standard loading) then fire form them in the gun.The 7-30 brass is sometimes hard to find.
