Remington Improved Model 6

I have a Remington Improved Model 6 that was my dad's. The bolt (screw) that connects the stock to the rest of the gun broke. Does anyone know where I can get another one? Or maybe even what size it should be? I only have part of the bolt (it broke at the threads) and if I know how long the whole bolt should be I could get one made.

  Can anyone tell me anything about a Remington improved model 6. It is a single shot 22. That's all I know. Thanks

  I'm not to up on Remingtons, but my #6 seems to be attached with just a single screw. I got an e-mail on your rifle, but I don't think I can be a lot of help. I think your best bet is to have your co-worker check out Larry's or find a gunsmith for you. Removing the broken screw may be a problem. Numerich Gun Parts could possibly be a place to find the right part. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
