WINCHESTER 1876 diagrams, dissasembly instuctions?

does anyone know of or have bookmarked a good site with exploded view parts diagrams, dissasembly instructions, etc...

its a WINCHESTER CENTENNIAL MODEL 1876 EXPRESS RIFLE in .50-95 WCF EXPRESS...

there seems to be very little info on this gun available. we have partialy taken it appart, and its very different from the `94, or `86.

    Believe the internal mechanism of the 76 is very similar to the Model 1873.

    The book I recommended to you last time, "NRA Firearms Assembly 3", "The NRA Guide to Rifles and Shotguns". has a IPB and disassembly instructions for the 73.

    the internal parts, springs, toggles, etc... are different. while externaly the guns are very simaler, the workings are not the same.

    its very frustrating...
    i have found data like this on super obscure guns, but this american classic eludes me.

    I don't know what you are seeing on the rifle in question, but an "original" Winchester Model 1876 is positively identical to a Winchester Model 1873 when it comes to the way they work internally, and in the disassembly of one. The only difference is the physical size of the parts, and the hammer & hammer spring on the '76 is slightly different. I confirmed this in a discussion with my good friend Roger Kurtz (Roger's Winchester Restorations) just a few minutes ago.

    you are correct about the sizes of parts being different. also there are some parts missing. i am simply relating what the gent who is working on it stated.

    i will take my `73 parts diagram and exploded view down and take a look myself.
