I order mine from knife and gun supply, try "knifeandgun.com"
But as an interesting option, visit your local cabinet shop. Offer to purchase some of his Corian scrap material. Excess from Corian countertops and backsplashes make great knife handles and pistol grips. It is available in dozens of colors. My 1942 Ithaca M-1911 sports a pair of corian grips that I carved, and it looks like whalebone. It can even be scrimshawed or engraved. I engraved my name and badge number into mine with a home made dremel tool bit. The material is easily worked, virtually impervious to stain, does not warp, shrink, or yellow. And your cabinet shop may just give you some scraps, mine does.0 -
Heckuva an idea. Thanks for that info.

A friend will post your bail. A good friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying, "man that was fun!"0 -
Thanks Captain Kirk and Trooper.
Will certainly look into the Du Pont material you mentioned that is used for cabinet work.
