CZ550

I have a CZ527 in 223rem which I really enjoy shooting. Recently, I have been looking at a CZ550 in 270win. Does anyone have any experience with that CZ model or any opinions about CZ rifles in general that would be helpful to me in making a decision?

Just received my first CZ550. What's the purpose of the button on the left side of the bolt shroud?

I had a CZ 550 magnum in .375H&H. Other than having to work the action a few times with some very fine valve grinding compound to smooth it up it was a very fine gun and a great bargain. I was never too crazy about the Bavarian style stock, but now I see they are available with a classic style stock.

I have two CZ550, one is a 6.5X55 and the other is a 7X57 with the full stock. Both are really good rifles. I highly recommend them.

Some ofthe best bolt action rifles made...period! Excellent bang for the buck. There are rifles I would rather own, but for the price, nearly impossible to beat!
