after-market recoil pad
Well, I'm back (big surprise, eh?)
Anywho, I bought an import shotgun for turkey season. The problem is that it has almost no recoil pad, and it's a 3.5" 12 ga. So, my question is, where can I get an add-on recoil pad that will fit, given that I don't know if it fits the Remington, Beretta, Winchester, etc. style. I've tried the slip-on style from Pachmeyer before, but it just doesn't work for me. I'd like to keep it on the thin side, but it needs to suck up a lot of recoil. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I've been wanting to try the one by simms vibration on my 444 marlin. I also want somthing to take up alot of recoil. Just haven't got around to it yet. That's one place to start looking. On another note, how did the 3.5 pattern? I could never get a decent pattern out of mine. So I ask the dealer about it and was told I was trying stuff too many shot out of such a restricted choke tube. I tried the 3in shells and it fixed the problem. I wasn't real happy that I lost a couple hundred pellets by going back to a 3in. shell but the gun shoots a wicked pattern and my shoulder appreciates it. 0 -
limbsaver makes alot of prefit pads to fit shotguns. Kick ease has some nice pads to that work well. I have a limbsaver on my omega muzzleloader and a kick ease on my o/u shotgun. I am happy with both. 0
