Browning HP 9mm tangent sights
I purchased a Browning HP with tangent sights and slot for the wooden stock. Blue. This is a Belgian Browning not an Englis.
Serial #511MM50_ _ _
I was told these were imported about 5 years ago by a company in Colorado, Utah, or Idaho...??????
Can anyone tell me about this gun....??? History, current value, anything of importance.
Thanks!!

Appears from the Browning web-site that your pistol dates from 2000.

My WAG is since the model prefix on your pistol is "511" instead of the "510" given on the Browning site IT IS somekind of grey market import. This is in regard to the slot for the shoulder stock in the butt. Don't believe that Browning imports any cut for stock.
