Found a S&W K-38 Masterpiece in great shape in the original box Sn is K947XX. Can anyone give me a DOM and value. Could not resist this one but I think I did ok. [:D]

In new cond- $350, exc cond-$285, VG cond- $225. Per the Standard Smith catalog.

Apparently this gun actually dates to the 1950s from what I found out. It also has a couple more blemishes than I saw at first, but definitely a charmer. Thanks guys. [:D]

Not mid-50's, but per Std. Catalog of S&W 1950.
In my area of the country, in top condition, $300-350 and with a couple minor blemishes, etc. maybe $250-300 but that is a pure guess as I can not see/examine the revolver.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
One thing for sure, it really shoots great--which is the main reason I bought it. Put a couple of boxes of light target loads through it. A pleasure to shoot. [:D]
