Rossi single shot rifles

I saw a clearence on one of the Rossi 22-250 varmint rifles with the heavy barrel with scope included for $186. at Dicks Sporting Goods.

Are these rifles worth the money for some occasional fun shooting varmits?

Any members own one?

    I found some Rossi single shot rifles for $139 new-in-box. These have the stainless receivers and barrels. I am trying to decide between the .357 Mag and the .44 Mag. Heck, for this price I might buy both. Are these rifles any good? Never heard much about them.

    I have one in 44mag its very accurate but I can wipe the blueing off.

    I've got one in 223 and it shoots like a dream. Just make sure if you are going to mount a scope on them to check out the screw holes and make sure that they were drilled and tapped correctly. Late last year they had a few get out that weren't quite right. Mfd by Rossi-Braztech, which I believe, and I will be corrected if I'm wrong, is a division of Taurus.

    They aren't fancy, but they do what they're designed to do.

    Well, I went ahead and ordered the .44 Mag on Monday. Should be here by Thursday. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

    I bought one in 357 at the last gunshow. Have yet to shoot it. I,ll post again after i do.

    Picked mine up at the gun shop today. Gotta clean the oil/cosmoline off of it before I shoot it. While I was at the gun shop today, I had them order a scope mount and a hammer extension. Just gonna put a small 3x9x32 on it.
