SP vs. JHP vs. FMJ for Saiga rifle

I just bought a Saiga 7.62x39 rifle. I've found some great deals on Barnaul ammo. Since this stuff is cheaper by the 1000's, I've considered only buying one type of ammo (sp or jhp or fmj).
Is there any reason not to buy all sp's, since I plan to hunt as well as plink? When would I want a fmj or jhp instead of a sp?

  I've shot all three in my 7.62x39 Saiga; if the price is the same, I see no reason not to use what you're going to hunt with to practice with.
  
  The one difference you might want to consider is copper-jacketed bullets verses the "bimetal" (a steel) with just the copper (wash) plating. I've bought Wolf brand (hollow point) with the copper jacket for about the same price as the bimetal--though I haven't seen it advertised recently.
  
  I'm not sure if it really makes any difference, but I consider there might be a little less wear to the barrel when using the copper-jacketed bullets. Also, I've never "scientificly" tested it, but the copper jacket doesn't seem strip off the lead core as readily as the bimetal steel jacket strips off--it might mean you'd get a better wound channel if hunting with the ammo.

  I would buy small amounts of various types of ammo from different manufacturers to see which functions best and is most accurate in YOUR rifle.
  
  7.62 x 39mm ammo varies greatly, some is much better quality and APPEARS to be much more accurate then other brands.
