Kahr .40...Glock 27...which is smallest, lightest
I haven't actually seen the Kahr first hand...understand it is a pretty good piece...I own a Glock 27 but would like something even smaller if possible..in .40 cal.

I had a Glock 27 and my brother has a Kahr .40. I liked his Kahr because it's narrow compared to the 27. I did miss my 27 after trading it off. The 27 is a very nice subcompact. The weight is about the same but I'm sure the Kahr out weighed the 27. Hope that helps.

Can't tell you much about the Glock, however I have several Kahrs, K9 and P40 and Glocks 17 & 22. If you are looking for lightweight you should consider the P40 model. Polymer lower assembly similar to the Glock. They will only have a 6 (I think) round magazine. But they are single stack and have a thinner profile than the double stack mag from Glock. Mine all shoot good and and are very concealable if that is a consideration for you. My advise would be to look at both, shoot both and pick the one that feels best to you.
