  Yes they are. The M&P model guns are also built on the K frame.
  
  The main differences between M&P and the modern "K" frames is the M&P's have fixed sights, thinner barrels, and a dull military style finish.

  It has K frame Pachmeyer grips. Perfect fit

  IF YOU ARE TRYING TO PUT STANDARD S$W WOOD GRIPS ON THEY WILL WORK BUT THEY DON'T FIT RIGHT THE GRIP PROFILE IS DIFFERENT. AFTER MARKET WRAP-AROUND GRIPS WORK OK.
