Can anyone tell me if cold blue will work on stainless steel parts? I have a Smith stainless ejector rod that I wish were blue. Thanks....BT

What type of gun is it? Is it old or brand new? I have a 1963 Python tht has a tiny, almost imperceptable hairline scratch. you don't want to mess with something like this. Keep it well oiled, or try Blue Wonder's "Armadillo".

If the scratch was there when it was blued, touching it up will do nothing. Touch-up bluing only darkens bare metal. I'd just keep it wiped down and chalk it up to a handling mark.
