It has been stated that dry firing the Glock pistol will not harm it, in a publication for Glock called the Glock Annual.

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

For a decade I stored my Glock 20 with the magazine full and I dry fired over an empty chamber. That way I could visually see it was in a safe condition yet only took a quick rack of the slide to bring it into action. After 10 years of storing it that way it still shot and cycled 100% of the time.
It is a requirement to dry fire a Glock to disassemble them...0 -
range, Are you referring to dry firing or are you planning on storing it with the trigger depressed.I guess eather way you probably arent going to hurt the glock.
I personally am not a glock fan, but they do have very high quality standards and are very durable. It will hold up,no problem.[:D]

You will not hurt your Glock by storing it with the trigger pulled.
Some of the Glock polymer boxes have tabs on the circular knob that goes thru the trigger guard so you have to pull the trigger the get it in the box for storage.
