Winchester 101 Pigeon

Hi,
We have a 99+% Winchester model 101 Pigeon Grade XTR Lightweight 12 GA shotgun. The thing that is puzzling us is that it has a blue receiver. There is mention of a super pigeon grade but it does not have gold inlay. Is this a special production or is there a definition of this? Any info would help. Thank you.
