DOM on 2 S&W revolvers ?

I hae 2 S&W revolvers in my shop from an Estate. I would like to know when they were made.#1} Model 17-2, 6". Ser # K6387xx. #2)Model 28-2 Ser. # S2830xx. Thanks for any help.

  According to the S & W book, they date to the mid 60's.
  
  1), Model 17, 1965
  
  2), Model 28, 1966-1967

  Thanks for th e information. The widow of the owner brought in the box and paperwork for the 17 and the only box of Ammo ever purchased for the Highway Patrolman Model 28. It has been fired 12 rounds. Both look almost new.
