bayard shotgun

i have a 16 gauge double barrel, hammerless shotgun in good conditionfor an older gun. Does anyone know what it might be worth?

  "Bayard" was a trade mark/trade name used by the Pieper Company of Belgium on their firearms.
  
  Pieper was in business from the 19th Century, until the 1930's.
  
  Chances are if you have an older shotgun, it was made prior to the German occupation of Belgium during W W I.
  
  The quality of Pieper's products varied considerably. It would be best if you could arrange a hands-on appraisal with a knowledgeable person.

  This will probably open up a can of Worms...BAYARD --Trade name of Anc. Etablissments Pieper, on Guns made by that Group in South America....Be interesting to See what Proof Marks are on the Water Table....
