1860 Greener Dbl Barrel 10 Ga. with Hammers

I have the above shotgun and it is in very good to excellent condition. Locks tight as a drum. Exposed hammers and an eexcellent stock. What is it worth?

    With the wealth of information given, the only possible answer is...
    The value of the gun is what someone is willing to offer.

    I suspect that your date is off by a decade or so because centerfire shells didn't come into general use until the 1870's. Pinfire before that, but it wasn't successful.

    Proof marks are most important as is a complete and detailed description of the piece. How about a repost?

    First a little History: GREENER,W.W. Established in 1829 in Northumberland, England as W.Greener, moved to Birmingham, England in 1844. Name changed to W.W. Greener in 1860, and to W.W. Greener & Son in 1879...
    Like NORD said; Its gonna be Worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it...If You had some idea as to what model Greener you have, it would be nice to know, as there are about 15 differant Models of Greener Doubles and the value can run from $1500.00 to $7500.00...and maybe a bit more depending upon Triggers and Ejectors or Extractors, Wood, Finish, Engraving....etc.Best......

    1860 is a little early for a Greener unless it was converted from pin fire because the std center fire shotshell first came to England in 1861.
    How about a picture of the action?
    Also remove the forend and barrel and describe the proof markings.
    I hope you don't find a script EL or an E over LG.
