    I LIKE THE REMINGTON 1100 2O GA.

Beretta would be my first choice. Anything but Benelli!

Remington 1100 or Browning A-5. In the last monrh I've picked the 1100's up for around $200 and the A-5's up for $300 out of local pawn shops.

Some of the Trade name shotguns like Ted Williams, J. C. Higgins, Sears, Western Auto, Western Feild are fine guns made by companies like Winchester, Colt, Remington, High Standard, Stevens, Mossberg, Savage, & Marlin.

Back of a blue book has a store brand cross-over list. For example My Ted Williams (Sears) model 300 is really a Winchester model 1400 made by winchester. It was considerably less expensive ($125) than a winnchester 1400 in comperable condition ($265).

Summer time is a good time to buy a shotgun too. If you wait till fall hunting season prices will be at a premium.

An evil tree bears evil fruit. You can destroy as much fruit as you want, but it will always grow back, and it will always be evil.

Tear the tree out of the ground by the roots and burn it. Burn it to ash and grind out the embers with your boot until there's nothing left. Not a single spark. Not a single seed.

all the mentioned guns are second rate to a winchester super x model 1. you asked for the BEST used gun...thus my suggestion is the winchester. all others mentioned are just used shotguns![;)]

    BERETTA BERETTA BERETTA BERETTA BERETTA.
The Beretta A-303 is the only semi-auto worth owning. I buy up almost every 303 I can get my hands on. I think the new AL-391 is good also but I still prefer the 303.

a 303...i'd buy one if they sold a jackknife with the gun..........so i could scrape the carbon crud off the gas system and forearm bolt! if you havent found that crud yet, you will very soon.

I completely disagree... I used to have a ton of 12 gauge shotguns and I liked my Benelli Super Black Eagle so much that I have since sold all except it, even my fine doubles. They aren't cheap though, if an inexpensive auto is what you're after I'd look for a Winchester 1400 or Remington 1100.
