Help with S&W 657
Hi, I need some help with a revolver I just got. It is a S&W 657(no dash, 4" ,.41 Mag, but it is Square Butt with smooth S&W combat grips(with medallions) and has an UNfluted cylinder, product code is 103950.. and the box is white cardboard with a smith label on the end with a S&W sleeve that slides over the inner box, has a big S&W logo and is red, white and blue with an Eagle on the front... never seen one like it. Also the product code is lower than any listed in the Standard catolog of S&W. Transitional model maybe?? ANY info will be appreciated as to year of manufacture, value, etc. It is ABSOLUTLY NEW in the original box with only every other chamber having been fired at the factory...as it should be. Thanks in advance
