Kimber Of Oregon
Got a Kimber Of Oregon model 82 classic? yesterday. 22 Hornet with 3x9 Leupold. Could not find the early hornet on G.B. Any Kimber guys know value of this? About 96per cent. Very good ++ wood. Serial is H10XX. Real early Kimber? Thanks...I got 750. in it nambu.

With the 3x9 Leupold, rings and bases, would judge somewhere in the $850 -$900 range, depending on grade of wood. Does it have the plain wood forend or the ebony tip? Plastic, rubber or steel butt plate?

Nice grain of wood, but no ebony cap,,,steel butplate. Hornet probably not the "hot caliber" now,,but something about this gun,,nambu 0 -
Actually, your Hornet chambering would add an additional $200 to the price of a Standard Model 82 (which I believe you have) over the .22LR chambering. Sounds like you struck a pretty good deal.
I have a Kimber of Oregon Model 82 in .22 LR that has a factory fluted stainless barrel. Can't find it listed in any of the blue books, so really can't determine it's value. (Sigh!)

Odd that you brought that up, had choice between the 22rf or Hornet. Have had MANY guns, but not an expert, books are only a guess IMO, that stainless barrel 22, got to be a shooter! Thanks for the responce/nambu 0 -
should bring about $900 if the rings are Kimber. I have a factory hornet box if you want to appeal to collectors. The classics just dont excite like the higher grades, custom classics and Superamericas. I should have said "Kimber of Oregon" factory box. Im asking $25. For an extra $5 Ill include the Kimber of Oregon 22 hornet loading booklet, also of interest to collectors. Figure shipping from 94549 0
